Who am I?

I was trained as and worked as a librarian for many years in several Florida libraries. I've been a minor computer geek since I got my first computer in 1976 (about four years after that photo was taken!).

I worked for the Florida Dept of State when Sandra Mortham was the Secretary, and we thought it could not get any worse. We were wrong.

I retired from the State in 2000 and lived full-time in a 35 foot fifth-wheel RV. My wife, Paula, and I traveled around the country and frequently volunteered part-time at an RV park to offset rental charges. We typically spent four or five months in an area and spent our free time getting to know the sights. It was a great life.

In 2012 we sold the RV and bought a manufactured home in western Montana and a townhouse in north Florida. We now travel between these, or spend time traveling to locations around the world...always looking for cemeteries to inventory!
