Bio

I inherited the genealogy gene , a host of ancient photographs, and a rabid research drive from my family. Many of my ancestors were Quakers building neighborhoods in pre-revolutionary eastern Pennsylvania. I've taken on finding those graves that may still have gravestones to photograph. As pre-1800 graves were largely unmarked and even then the markers were only initialed for a while, it is difficult to tie them to distinct persons graves. Also time has not been kind to the material used in some places.

If you request an edit, I will take the time to review the change and will need documentation to back up the change.

Preserving the past in pictures is my passion. As Joni Mitchell sang, "You don't know what you've got 'till it's gone."
