OH on land granted in 1805 to my 3rd great-grandfather John Harter (1769-1848), I graduated from the College of Wooster (Wooster, OH) with a B.A. in physical/health education. After teaching in the Hudson Public Schools and at The University of Akron, I have now as of August 2020 retired as an emerita professor. I married (1969), had a son (1974), and earned a Ph.D. from Kent State University (1980). Since I was a child, my parents and I researched, recorded details of family history.
