Looking for any information on my grandfather, Elmer David Simmons. b. May 1, 1900 d. Mar 1971?
He left TN in the early 40's. The only information that I have is that my father and uncle went to see him while he was living in KY (late 60's). He may have owned a small business. Played fiddle? He changed his name and I cannot find any records for him past the 1930 census. Please help if you might suspect you know who he is. I just want to know where he is buried and pay my respects.
