Bio

"Leatherstocking" is a nod to the historical fiction series by James Fenimore Cooper.

If you'd like to help ensure I'm able to successfully research any edits you suggest, specific source references are very welcome. You can provide them by using the "Suggest Other Corrections" button during the suggestion process. You can copy a bibliographic reference or a web address into the text box. It helps to be as specific as possible. (Name of repository, date, volume, page number, etc..)

As for memorials that I manage but did not create, each is an established record.
Unless able to prove otherwise, I must assume that the information is accurate.
If you believe one of these memorials needs to altered or deleted, again please help by providing source references. If I cannot successfully research your claim, I cannot in good conscience alter a record someone else created.

Also, if you're making change-suggestions, make sure you're also accepting messages. Being able to follow-up is often critical.

Note: I reserve any/all intellectual property rights not surrendered in the Findagrave user agreement. This includes photos. You may download a copy of a photo for your personal records. However, said photos may not be posted, displayed elsewhere (including, but not limited to Ancestry.com), nor transferred or transmitted to any third party or used by any other person, organization/business entity without my explicit permission. Please contact if you wish to do so.

About me - Since this field is apparently supposed to be about me, here goes - I'm a multi-degreed professional with over twenty five years personal genealogical experience. So far, I've traced my family tree back thirteen generations in North America and can be successfully traced back an additional five hundred years in the UK/EU. Blah Blah Blah.
