My ancestors came to TX in 1840's, and my Mother & 5 siblings were born in Fredericksburg.I have letters,photos and other memorabelia from my grandparents and names,dates for ancestors buried there=the Graf & Peter families. Philipp Peter's funeral announcement in German was passed down to me along with birth records in German for the Peter family while in Germany.I am on Ancestry.com and have a HOOPER Family Tree. Willhelm H Peter and Lena Graf Peter are buried @ Mt Olivet Cemetery in Ft.Worth,TX. Goebel & Schneider are also being researched.
My grandfather,Mack Hooper+Margaret Ellen West came to TX abt 1910 from GA/AL. My father,Johnnie I Hooper was born in Ft Worth, TX. 11/19/1916.
