My paternal Grandparents Jakiw Styra and Anna Uhrynowicz , children Olena (Helen) and Kost immigrated to Beaver Lake in 1900. Names on the Monument for The Deceased Without Gravemarkers at Saint John's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Haight Lloydminster Monument show:
Left Side: children Paraska Shtyra dd 1910; Dmytro Shtyra dd 1912; Jakiw Styra dd 1921;
Right Side: Anna Styra dd 1934.

All my Shtyra/Styra family members may have had tombstones or wooden crosses (many broken, unreadable tombstones are located at the end of the cemetery). Old cemetery records were poorly recorded without plot locations. Parish members reorganized the records and Borschiw families cleaned up the cemetery , installed the Dedication Monument for Deceased Without Gravemarkes for the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Parish 100th Parish Anniversary held June 8, 2003.

Four other Styra children, Constantinus (Kost), Paulina, Paul, Michael are buried on the Styra homestead NW 32-52-16-W4. The homestead field area for their burials is never ploughed.

Olena Styra dd 1941 is buried in the Szepenitz Church Cemetery, Two Hills Lloydminster Census Division.
