Born in Indianapolis, IN, living in eastern Georgia now. My maternal side of the family hails from southwestern VA and my paternal side from southwestern OH and southern IN. My maternal grandmother got me interested in genealogy around 1992. When she passed away in 1998, she left me her research, which was mostly on my maternal side. I began researching my paternal side and in the late 90's, I was using the internet and exchanging a lot of e-mails and using message boards, etc. I finally caved in and signed on to Ancestry and found Find A Grave through them. It's a thrill to make new discoveries relevant to my family history. I'm just beginning to make contributions to Find A Grave.
