I have been working on genealogy since childhood when I would sit down with my father and grandmother with the family sheets and fill them out, systematically asking other family members for information to complete pages in our book. It has always seemed like detective work and quite fun to discover new ancestors and their stories. It is never-ending! I am in the process of working on my husband's family as well, which is more difficult with so few still around. Get the stories now, when people are alive to tell them!! They are all a part of us, and their struggles and joys have influenced how we have been raised and the values we hold dear.
