Bio

I study the Civil War-era between Oklahoma City OK and Dallas TX plus Childress, Childress Co TX and Texarkana, Bowie Co TX. I have published five editions of BOURLAND IN NORTH TEXAS AND INDIAN TERRITORY DURING THE CIVIL WAR: FORT COBB, FORT ARBUCKLE, AND THE WICHITA MOUNTAINS that includes 240 North Texas militia listings. It has 1,046 pages, weighs 7.3 pounds and is from handwritten records. Neither Texas nor Oklahoma universities have bothered to produce graduate theses from these handwritten records. My last book will be BOURLAND'S REGIMENT IN NORTH TEXAS AND INDIAN TERRITORY DURING THE CIVIL WAR. The first half of this book will essentially be the same as the former book because the data was transcribed from THE BOURLAND PAPERS, three microfilm reels found at the National Archives. The second half of my last book is a listing Bourland's Regiment and an extensive index.
