Born in Shreveport,LA in 1948. My dad worked for United Gas Pipeline, moveed to east Texas when 6 months old. Grew up in east and south Texas. Graduated from high school in Texas, went to college some in Texas but eventuall moved back to Louisiana and graduted from LSU. Have lived in Shreveport for last 35 years.

My Dad was William Terrell Shaver, he married Lorene Harmon. They had 3 children, Raymond Joseph Shaver, Walter Stewart Shaver and William Dennis Shaver(me).
