I began my Find-A-Grave journey while searching for my relatives buried in New York and Utah. Along the way I discovered this great community of genealogists, historical researchers, cemetery detectives, and families looking for markers on their loved ones' graves. I was quite surprised by the amount of interest in locating graves in our local cemetery, so for the past decade I've made it my mission to fulfill photo requests whenever possible. I find it especially gratifying to be able to assist people who might otherwise not have the opportunity to see the resting places of their loved ones.
