Bio

Genealogy is my passion and pastime and I will continue as long as my fingers are able to do the walking for me. I was born and grew up in the Huntsville area of North Alabama in the heart of the Tennessee River Valley at the foot of the Cumberland Plateau mountain range. I am married to my best friend and the love of my life. Our roots date back to the old cotton days but we are fortunate to be part of this high-tech, technology based, space, and defense industries that have a major presence here with the Army's Redstone Arsenal and NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center as the Rocket City.

I have been researching our families for the past 30 years. I love to share but I expect the same from you. If any of the memorials I have created need updates, please contact me. If any are a relative of yours and you are closer kin then I and you want to manage them, let me know and I will transfer them. The majority of my memorials are close family. Please use the “Edit tab” and “Submit A Change” to ask for a transfer or update.

Some of the lines I am researching are CARPENTER, CARATHERS, CROCKER, DORSEY, GOOD, HARRISON, HOSCH, HOWARD, JACKS, McCOWN, PERKINS, PETTEY, ROWEL, SMITH, SPENCE, STEADMAN, THOMPSON, TWITTY, WEAVER, and WRIGHT.

Find a Grave is a great site. I would love to see all the graves in the United States finally be entered here for a love one to fine. I totally agree with updating Find A Grave because it is "free”. Thus, it helps that the family trees are consistent and correct. At least, it may get people to take a second look. When family is linked on Find A Grave, those family relationships stay together. GREAT JOB to all who have spent hours adding memorials, walking cemeteries, locating grave sites, and photographing cemeteries so the rest of us can see the final resting place of our relatives for the first time!

You have my permission to use any picture taken by me for private uses as long as I am given credit. For commercial use, please contact me.

I do the work I do on Find A Grave in memory of my parents and ancestors.
