Bio

I have lived in Santa Rosa, California since I was just under 1 year old. I am a Graphic Designer and have been married to my wonderful husband, Arnie for 29+ years. I grew up in the country on a old dirt lane that led to the Old Fulton Cemetery. Perhaps because of this and of all the wonderful memories I have of walking through and reading the headstones and imagining what the people looked like, how they lived, etc. and growing up in the country on a farm with every animal you can think of, I have no fear of cemeteries. I think they are peaceful and beautiful. So, it's no wonder that I am perfectly at peace living right next to (29+ years), literally less than the length of a football field, the Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery and the Santa Rosa Memorial Cemetery. It was meant to be! I only just got into researching my family tree about 6 mths. ago. My father is a Minton and grew up hearing that he was related to the Minton's of Minton China and my mother is a Wright and could remember as a child being told that she was related to one of our United States Presidents....so I just decided one night after watching "Who Do You Think You Are" to begin the search of our family tree. To say that it has been interesting would be an understatement! I've learned so much about my family and I know that I haven't even come close to learning everything. I just love the history and the research involved. It's fasinating and addictive!
