I've been casually strolling through the internet trying to find my ancestors. I can't get the Thomases back more than a couple of centuries, and there are a good many uncertainties. The Blanchetts, my dad's mother's family, doesn't go that far back!

Mom was a Byrd, her mother was a Stanley. I have about four generations of Byrds, three of Stanleys, many more of the ladies' forebears--Andersons, Barwells, Lords, Whittles, a host of surnames.

And I'm loving the search! I doubt I know enough to help anybody much, but I'll be happy to if I can. And I will gladly accept all the help I can get!
