Bio

My mother and her family are from this area and her ancestors settled here in the 1700s (Weavers, Whiteners & Laniers).
I have 3 grown daughters and 4 grandchildren.
I've been researching the Weavers since 1999, and have many old family documents and letters.
The most helpful have been letters from Martha Barbara Weaver Boughman (Bowman) from the 1800s. They have helped me piece together a lineage despite misinformation that has been posted and published on a particular Jacob Weaver.
(BTW, there are several "Bougham" listings that s/be Boughman on the Mt Zion United Methodist page: Sina and Timothy were Martha Barbara's children)
Also have Whitener histories, via photos and books. (Thank you to Gracie Cook!) Susan Mary Whitener Weaver was my great-grandmother. Agnes and Moses Whitener were my great-great-grandparents.
Willing to share info for specific and detailed requests.
Happy hunting!
