My Mom had not been been able to make it back across the country to her mother's gravesite since her mother's funeral...which was over 77 years ago.

I reached out to the cemetery and someone was kind enough to go out and visit the gravesite to take a picture; but they found that she did not have a grave marker...at the time there simply was not enough money to afford one. Within our family, we solicited donations from all of her decendents and now, after 77 years, my grandmother has a headstone.

It meant so much to my mother and my family. I was so thankful for the kindness of that stranger taking the picture for us that I want to "pay it forward" and help out other families seeking connections with their lost loved ones.
