I am in Washington County RI. Have been researching my family tree only for a few years, obviously still an amateur.
I quickly discovered that the further back in time one researches, the photos of ancestors become more rare and treasured. Sometimes a grave marker is all that can be found. I find it very rewarding to help keep the history and the memories of our ancestors alive.
