Hi I am Louis E. Wiegand, III most everyone knows me as Buddy. I was born in Johnstown, PA and have lived in Florida since 1960. I have been interested in my family tree from a young age from listening to stories my grandparents would tell me.

I started out on findagrave after my father passed away and have added not just graves for my family but my wife's and my son-in-law's family. I have also started with adding local burials that are not being added.

As I have found a lot of Amish and Mennonite in my ancestry I also belong to the Swiss Anabaptist Genealogical Association (SAGA). A few of my sources are Descendents of Jacob Hochstetler, Descendents of Barbara Hochstetler and Amish and Amish Mennonite Genealogies.

I also am involved in Civil War reenacting as a hobby.
