Hello everyone I have been interested in searching my roots for about eight years off and on. I have mainly been searching for my relative and on my mothers side: Clanton, Downs, Atkinson; and my fathers side: Jonas and Bumgardner. I have just started on my husbands sides: Harrell, Hopkins, Steele. The most challenging are the Harrell's and the Atkinson's but with time and effort I will get it done. I do enjoy reading all the insription and the history that comes with all the searching. If the information about our families are not preserved then no one will know how things were back then or understand how hard it was and what our ancesters had to do to get us to where we are today.

We do not know who we are if we do not know where we came from.
