Born in Massachusetts and then raised in NJ. Graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1966. Commissioned into the Marine Corps eventually retiring from the Reserves with the rank of Colonel. Active duty primarily with two F-4J Phantom II fighter squadrons, VMFA-334 and VMFA-212. Did tours in VietNam with both. Professionally worked in the SF Bay area for variety of software companies before retiring to FL.
