Bio
Daughter of Dr. Forrest S. Chilton (born Herman, NY), and Elizabether Reik Chilton (born Roaring Springs, PA. Three brothers: Forrest S. Chilton III, member of the US Air Corps, killed over the English Channel in l944; Clive R. Chilton, minister in the Reformed Church of America, active in social programs in his area of Long Island - died in l992; and Thomas J. Chilton - missionary on small islands of the South Pacific prior to returning to USA and working in housing at Hombolt College (CA) and Rutgers University (NJ). Prior to retirement, he was home inspector in NJ for about years. Tom and his wife, Henrietta, have 5 sons. They now live in Deleware.
Born in 1942 in Patterson, NJ, I have lived my whole life in NJ. The mother of 7 children and 28 grandchildren, I truly enjoy all types of family get-together. Retirement is near, but I still enoy working as a registered nurse at the local hospital that was founded by my parents almost 60 years ago.
My husband and I love to travel and do as much of it as we can. We are also very active in our church, and are just concluding a very busy year as our church turned 275 years old and we had many special activities throughout the year. For the anniversary I got to write a small booklet on the history of the church, and was very excited when an article I wrote was published in the Dec. (2011) issue of "COUNTRY" magazine!
