Union Cemetery on Find A Grave
As of December 2011, all gravestones in Union Cemetery have been documented on Find A Grave. Of the 55,000 burials in this historic cemetery, only 8% of the graves are marked with legible gravestones. We are in the process of identifying the exact locations of as many other burials as we can. We are somewhat hampered by the fact that many records were destroyed in a fire in the sexton's cottage in 1889 and identification of plots after that time was sometimes confusing.
