My name is Brian Layton, and William Layton is my Great, Great, Great Grandfather. He and several other of my relatives reside in the Layton Cemetery. I didn't know I had direct relatives in the cemetery until the summer of 2011 even though I grew up about 10 miles to the west of the cemetery. I hope to restore this cemetery over the next few years, but I will probably need some help as I now live about an hour to the north-west. I am adding an excel file with the names of the people burried in the Layton Cemetery. The list was originally compiled by Jeanine Warren, and Helen Grove back in 1965. It was then rechecked and cataloged by Barbara Fausett, and Helen Grove in April of 1972 and 1973.
