I have for many years done family genealogy research, which has made me very appreciative of work others have previously done in their community to list family members on the free web sites such as this one. In appreciation of their work I became a contributing member of Find-A-Grave but I have contributed my time to such projects for years. I am the webmaster for the SCV Randal W. McGavock Camp's web site here in Hermitage TN. "http://www.tennessee-scv.org/Camp1713" and in 2002 I photographed all of the 483 grave stones for the "Tennessee Confederate Soldiers Home" cemetery located on the grounds of the "Hermitage", President Andrew Jacksons home. I placed a Confederate soldiers memorial section on our web site at that time to honor all of these soldiers. These pages list each soldier buried there and displays each soldier's head stone. Since then many contributors have also had a hand in listing them all on the Find-a-Grave web site, I thank you all as I have two Great Grand-Fathers who were Confederate Soldiers as well that are listed on the Find-a-Grave web site.
