I am the Granddaughter of Private (Pte) 3787 Albert Percival Griffiths, 8th Battalion, of Brunswick, Vic. A fireman prior to enlisting on 9 July 1915, Pte Griffiths embarked from Adelaide on HMAT Ceramic with the 12th Reinforcements on 23 November 1915. He was killed in action on 26 July 1916 in France, at the age of 22. Missing in Action
I never want my grandfather to be forgotten..I never did get to meet him but he is my hero.
