Bio

I have been researching my family history for over 20 years. I have a deep respect for our ancestors and their contributions to their families and the world in which they lived. We can learn so much simply from the lives of those who have walked before us.

Many of my ancestors moved out to Oklahoma from Tennessee either shortly before or during the forced removal on the Trail of Tears. Therefore, most of them are buried out there (I live in Tennessee - the first person in my family to be back here since they were moved out west nearly 2 centuries ago).

I have used Find-A-Grave to locate many of my ancestor's burial sites and have had the pleasure of having some of my photo requests filled by caring individuals. Thus, I would like to do the same for those of you who may have relatives/ancestors in my area that you would not otherwise be able to visit their gravesites.

Take care,
Linda
