Bio

My first taste of genealogy was as a child, when I heard stories that John Alden of the Mayflower was my ancestor. My grandmother grew up in the early years of the 20th century and would tell me stories of her childhood and of her various relatives. I have been "doing genealogy" for a number of years, and I seem to be the keeper of the important family records. So far, much of the information I have on our ancestors' families is still in file drawers instead of in my family tree program! I'm trying to remedy that, a little at a time.

For several years I have been the Historian of the Dixboro United Methodist Church, located in Superior Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan.
