Born in Oakland, California. Fourth generation Anglo Californian, of mostly British descent. One set of Great Grandparents lived first in Amador, then Fiddletown, then finally Eureka. My father's paternal grandparents immigrated from Croatia, bringing my Grandfather with them in 1881. I'm a sentimental sort and a bit of an ancestry and history buff, and that is what drew me to this site.
