Honoring our Families who traveled from Sao Miguel, Faial, and Pico of the Açores Islands off the coast of Portugal. They left their homeland so that their descendants may have a better life. They traveled by ship, 3 months at sea, around the southern tip of South America, and worked on many of the island plantations in the Kingdom of Hawaii.

We are grateful for their many sacrifices, hardships, and courage to begin a new life in Pleasanton, CA in 1893.
