I was born and raised in Jackson, MN as was my father, Norman Strube. My grandmother was Ella Pietz Strube. Her father was Adolph Pietz, son of Daniel and Minnie Pietz.
I love WWII History as my parents served in the US Army during the war, as did most of my aunts and uncles. I have such great respect for those of the "Greatest Generation." I recently went on
"Honor Flight" with my mother and 110 other WWII veterans to see their memorial in Washington, DC.
