I started my own genealogy research in 2010. I have traced my family back to the year 846. As I did my research, I gained the help from findagrave.com volunteers. I began as a volunteer myself to assist others in their research. Now, I also work at updating information for local research. I feel that since I live next to a cemetery and I do genealogy myself, I should help others. I do research in Branch, Hillsdale, Isabella, and Van Buren Counties of Michigan. When request are made for a photo, I also add pics of family plots and add additional family members. I also will do extra research at the local library, if needed.
