Bio

My name is June and I live in southern California now for approximately 46 years this month. I relocated here from Sterling, Colorado in August of 1965 and began working at Autonetics in Anaheim, California. From there, I returned to the nursing field and worked for 8 years at Rancho Los Amigo Hospital in Downey, CA. I came to California after the breakup of my marriage and brought my two sons with me. I later re-married and remain married to the same man after 43 years. I come from a large family of 9, and all have passed away with the exception of my twin sister Jane Kinzie and my youngest brother Bob Bowes. I have two wonderful sons and between them, they have 6 girls and 1 boy and I am the proud greatgrandmother to 4 children, 1 boy and 3 girls with another greatgrandson due sometime early September.

I was the youngest girl of a family of 9, 6 brothers, a twinsister named Jane, and my eldest sister Jean. We were born to Ira and Mable Bowes in Kearney, Nebraska.
