Hi, I have been doing genealogy since I was 17 yrs old. I had the joy of having one of the best genealogy mentors I could of possibly had. We had no computer then, so our searches consisted of a lot of road trips. Ending us up in places such as old court houses, old libraries, and even older cemeteries, not to mention the eye straining, vision ruining, microfiche.
I feel a strong connect to the bloodlines that tie me to my ancestors. Maybe the thought that the same blood that coursed through their veins, do the same in mine. Each and everyone I have researched I have lovingly placed them in their own little spot in my heart. I weep for the little ones that never got a chance, and envy the older ones that made it to amazing ages, despite all their hardships.
This is all a labor of pure love and admiration for the ones that came before me,..that made ME who I am today, and who will make my daughter the person she will become tomorrow. God Bless You All,...and always,..Happy Hunting.
