Bio

My name is Jop Planje.

I'm researching the descents of Frederick Augustus Zetteler who came round 1750 to the Netherlands and married in 1749 in Breda (NL). Some years later he moved to the The Haque and Rotterdam area. His descents have the name Zetteler and in the USA sometimes Zettler. In 1848 the American twig was founded by Fredrik Tobias Zetteler in Wisconsin.

Further I'm researching the descents of Paulus Planger. He came round 1650 to Leiden (NL) and married there in 1650 for the first time. His descents have the names: Planje, Planjer and Planije or Planye. Round 1800 a twig (Abraham Planje) moved from Leiden to The Haque. From this twig (Johannes Planje) the first emigrants moved round 1875 to St. Louis (Missouri). Another twig (Johannes Willem Frederik Planje) from the The Haque family moved in the beginning from the 20th century first to New York and Pennsilvania, later they moved on to California.
