My mother's father was Samuel Bunyan Beamguard, son of Joseph Wesley Beamguard, who was the son of Godfrey Beamguard and Susannah Edmonds. I currently live in Spokane WA, but was born and raised in Charlotte NC. My mother grew up in Clover SC, which is where Godfrey Beamguard is buried.
