I am a descendant of the Shank/Dangler/Kozle/Hammond families. My Shank and Dangler ancestors came mostly from the Putnam County, Ohio area. I am having a very difficult time tracing my Kozle ancestors because of many name spelling changes, but they were were in the S.E. Michigan and Brooklyn/Rochester, NY areas. My Ancestry family tree is public, so if you see verifiable errors, please let me know so I can correct them.
