Bio

I grew up in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona (when Scottsdale was a 'one horse town'). I moved to Valdez, AK during the pipeline days and it was NUTS. As a child I had always been fascinated by the obits in the paper. Unfortunately growing up in my HS years in Alaska introduced me to loss. My mom died when I was 16 and I lost a LOT of friends in car accidents and such. My college years seem to be the same. My 'death of friends' streak didn't seem to slow down until my 40's. However, I have never forgotten those friends who are gone, even though many HAVE forgotten them. I have always felt compelled to help my 'losses' be remembered in one way or another. This website assists me with this, and completes a lot of closure for me.
Since this completes closure for ME, I feel compelled to help others with closure in the same way.
