I grew up in Granville, Ohio, and became interested in genealogy at the age of 16 (many years ago) as my parents could remember only a couple of generations of my ancestors. As I grew older, I discovered the thrill of locating and making contact with "cousins" all over the country. I also found finding and examining headstones of distant ancestors made their existence much more real.

My Veazie and Barkley lines cross into many other families. The memorials I manage are primarily in New York state as both lines settled in Steuben and Orange counties.
