I volunteer to take photos for FindAGrave.com. There are many people here and on Ancestry.com who helped me take my family tree back to 1590. I can never thank them enough, so I am paying it forward by helping others find their family here.

Fair use is a doctrine that permits limited use of copyrighted material without acquiring permission from the rights holder. For me, that means that you can use these photos in your online tree (including sites like Ancestry.com) or in a program on your computer like Family Tree Maker. You are also free to share them with other family members or make prints for your personal use. You are not allowed to sell them, publish them or use them for any commercial purpose.
