The 13th Michigan Memorial Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and preserving the memory of the men of the 13th Michigan Veteran Volunteer Infantry during the American Civil War. We are currently trying to collect all the information we can on any member of the 13th. We have over 3000 pages of letters, diaries, photos, official reports and period newspaper article. We want to find out who these men were, where they came from and what happened to them after the war, as well as their activities during the war itself. Our goal is to be a central clearing house for information on the 13th Michigan. We will gladly share all we have at no cost with anyone interested. If anyone has any information they would be willing to share with us, please contact us. We will gladly check our files to see what we have to share with you. We put out a free quarterly newsletter via email and would love to put you on the list, if you are interested.
