I have been interested in genealogy ever since I was 10 years old. I am so grateful that from such a young age I have been blessed to have "the Spirit of Elijah" with me. The second of six children born to John and Joan Meacham, I moved all over the United States, and then moved more as an adult. I worked briefly in the library at BYU, and then as an assistant to a professional genealogy researcher, Kevan Hansen, owner of United Anscestries, and then as a library assistant at the big Family History library in Salt Lake City on Temple Square. My husband,Jeff Kocherhans and I have sixteen children, and are the grandparents of twenty-nine! I continue doing genealogy and love it. I have served as the Ward Temple and Family History Consultant in four different wards, including my current one.
