I have been trying to research my family off and on for 20+ years. I can only get back to my gggrandfather on the Davis side. I am also trying to find info on William Rice Puckett. He has been the hardest one to find anything on. I know he went to Arkansas around 1865 from Cherokee County AL. He killed several men here and could never come back. He died in Sebastian County, Arkansas around 1902-1904 but I have not been able to find out where he is buried. I am also trying to find info on Walter Sherrell Lankford. He was my gr-grandfather on my mother's side. If anyone knows anything on any of these people I would love to know about it. Thanks.
