I have been interested in family history for as long as I can remember and started collecting clippings, old photographs and histories back in the seventies when an elderly cousin who knew of my interest shared his work with me. Then other aunts and uncles did the same in hopes their photographs and stories would be appreciated and remembered. Find A Grave is a wonderful way to put the pieces together in a location that is accessible to anyone who is interested. It is a source of great satisfaction to follow the links of a family back through the generations to the country of origin. Even more interesting is to be able to put faces with the names and add profiles and documentation. All this takes quite a bit of time, which I don't have much of just now, but I do have a great deal more to add as time permits.
