Bio

I was born and raised in Nowata, OK. I am married with three children and 8 grandchildren. My Dad is George Kelley from the Kelley, Garris, Tippett and Steward line. He was born in Colorado and raised in Kansas and Tecumseh, Nebraska. He was a man of many talents, from working ranch cowboy, calf roper to machanic/truck driver. My Mom, Maudie Kays was born in Missouri and raised in Northeast Oklahoma around the Grand Lake area. Her family came by covered wagon into Oklahoma between 1906 and 1909.
My family lines are from hard working farmers, pioneers and elusive ancestors with no written history to those with colorful histories to the clan names of Ferguson and Finley.
As so many people that had Civil War ancestors my ancestors fought both for the South and the North to those that patroled the Nebraska plains for the protection of the settlers.
