I have been researching my genealogy for over 20 years. When I began, the Internet was still on Al Gore's drawing board!!! It's much easier to connect with information and long lost cousins these days!!! My maternal ancestors have been in the US for more generations than I have been able to trace. I am a 4th generation native southern Californian on her side. My father's parents immigrated from Italy in the early 1900s. I hope to get to Italy one day soon and find out more about them.
