Hello my name is Stephanie and I have been researching my Bird & Byrd family tree since March 1999.

In the past 17 years I have trekked up mountains wearing my daddy's cowboy boots to avoid snakebite, dug through moldy spiderwebbed basements, and endured what feels like hundreds of paper cuts in the great search for those pesky ancestors who could not seem to be considerate enough to leave a decent paper trail for their great-gr-gr-gr-gr-granddaughter!!

I was thrilled to find this web site so that I can keep up the search and find new relatives!!
Just remember the more research you do, the closer you are to breaking down that genealogy brick wall you are beating your head against!! My problem is I seem to be moving more sideways than back!!
