Bio

I joined the Navy right out of High School on 11 March 1947 and retired as a Master Chief Data Processing Technician (E9) on 5 August 1966.

I have been doing family genealogy since 1983 and have written family books on these families: Newman, Burk(E), Doty, Dueppen and assisted in my wife's family: Beaty and Sealock. Also, I have done extensive research on other family lines including: Garnett, Jones and Preston - these three were originally from Washington Co., Maine.

My Edward Doty line came over on the Mayflower in 1620. He married Faith Clarke on 6 Jan 1635 in Plymouth, Mass. and they had seven children.

Unless a person is directly related to me I'll be glad to transfer control to anyone.
