I've been interested in geneology for years now, but haven't had the time to search like I have now. I'm disabled and have a lot of time on my hands now to research and look and now it's so much easier, than when I first did some research which was all microfische at the public library, etc.
I'm researching Daniel,Lott, Patterson, Vaughan and some other lines and will be interested in finding out what I can about all my relatives and forefathers.
Already , Find-A-Grave has helped me and my siblings to see our Grandmother's grave over in Arizona, as none of us got to go to her funeral nor see her gravesite!
I've lived in Texas all of my life. So far, the contributions I've added are all my family members, but I'm thinking of becoming a volunteer photographer. I'm so pleased to have found this site quite by accident. I put my grandfather's name into 'Google' and one site listed was Find-A-Grave, and we had just lost the last of his children, my uncle. So I've just gotten re-interested in doing geneology research! It's time consuming I know, and now it just seems so much easier to do than in the mid-nineties!
I hope to be a contributor as I am so pleased that there are others who've contributed photos of my familie's gravesites for me to find!
