I was born and have lived my entire life in Northern California, but my immediate family comes from Georgia, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Missouri, but our roots reach out to Ireland and Scotland and all over the eastern United States as well.

I am very interested in genealogy and am getting very interested in history after researching a relative's service and demise in the civil war, I was lucky enough to be able to visit the actual spot the battle was fought.

Before my immergance into genealogy, geography was never very important to me, however, now I am discovering and learning so much and can't wait to visit places where my ancestors lived, worked and played.
